It saddens me that I have a degree and yet I can't find a job for the summer that pays more than $8 an hour. Oh well.

So, Thursday DID work for me until I found an evening job (5-9pm)... so, if you all want to do it Thursday, I'll just be the late one. The BB host, late? Tragic.

I want to start my own school. I decided this today over sandwiches with my bf. Like.. a high school/middle school that allows students to learn about whatever they wish and the teachers are there as advisors/guidance... experts. If the education system started out with every student thinking (and being told) they were geniuses capable of doing anything, we'd have different people in our society and people would perceive school differently in general.

Comments?

BBQ on Thursday would be good for me.

Although I do wonder will everybody still be on campus? It is late into finals week.

I would like to thank~
} Amy Taggart for being fun and open to talk to]
} Skittles for being delicious in rainbow colors]
}My seventh grade writing partner for drawing me a picture of a dragon]
}Teamspeak for making free voice chat software]
}Jeremiah for putting up that link to the REVOLUTION IS NOT AN AOL KEYWORD]

Thank you Jeremiah for offering to have the BisonBlog BBQ. When can everyone get together next week during finals? I was thinking like Wednesday or Thursday night... anybody, anybody?

I'd also like to thank the following things today:
>Thank you to a few of my new writers for getting their things into me.
>Thank you to this semester for not killing me, but making me stronger.
>Thank you to the inventor of naps.
>Thank you to people who I loan money to and get it back promptly. *wink*

Chuck- rock on with the dog blog find!

Yes, Helene.. the bug you saw was me with my pink cowboy hat in it. It's a silver beast.. usually loud music spews from it, and I have been known NOT to go the speed limit. Why drive if you are going to go SLOW, Charles? That's no fun.

I have completely jumped on the Sex and the City wagon, but I have noticed that that is not a super popular wagon.. just like the X-files. My bf likes the X-files, and I have seen a few episodes. Both shows have their fans, and they are both wagons to get on. Now, tomorrow, my wagon of Friends will be over. Sad sad sad. I'll miss Joey's references to sandwiches... and Chandler's changes in pitch when he speaks for emphasis.

Tomorrow is my last day of classes too. It's strange to end a semester without a huge paper to write for one of my own classes, but I'll have plenty of grades to plug in and calculate.

Happy !Cinco de Mayo!

it's Tuesday.....
.....am i Ticked Off?

+ People who don't read directions. (Students = people in this scenario.)
+ Having a big huge frozen chunk of chicken that won't thaw out.
+ Itchy legs.
+ There's something about Ryan Seacrest that is annoying. He's probably a nice guy, but he ticks me off a little.
+ The show, The Swan.
+ I'm ticked off that I have gotten addicted to American Idol.
+ Coming to the end of a semester = fun, correcting all the crap I have to correct/assess = ticked off.
+ Lastly, I am ticked off that I bought food the other day, but I am not hungry for any of it right now.

I'm ticked off at |group work| with group members who don't give a (interjection of your discretion here) about the ||assignment||!

|group discussions|
||discussing||

I also feel the same as Charles about having to stay inside when it's a sunshiny day.

On the sunnier side of things:
iTunes just got cooler. They now have a free song every Tuesday, music videos, the ability to publish your playlists on iTunes, movie trailers, the Foo Fighters and, yes folks not just the Foo Fighters but the Beastie Boys as well! Fun! Fun!! Fun!!!

God Bless

MANIC, mAnIc, -m-a-n-i-c-Monday.....
Clean up week is hilarious. Makes me want to sit out on our porch and cheer everytime someone takes a piece of our crap. Our avenue's been busy, and my bro snatched a recliner and two endtables... free stuff rules.

{Here's the really manic stuff:}
First, I had a weird dream about Jennifer Aniston... she was Rachel marrying Ross and I was her maid of honor.. then she was her real self and she was showing me her house with Brad, and we like hung out... then she was her character on The Good Girl, and I was watching the movie with Jen. From that dream, I jumped over to a volleyball match. I didn't get picked from my teammates that I have now on Monday nights, so I ended up playing with some kids. Literally=children. One former teammate apologized about not picking me, and I said, "Don't worry, we're going to kick your a**." I don't think we did, but the rest of that dream was about volleyball, and I just remember being upset at a lot of people.

We play for the championship of our D-F league tonight in VB, so... I hope that dream means I am ready to kick butt and take names.
Manic Monday
There are seventh graders swarming all over the cafeteria. It's pure chaos, well not quite pur but pretty darn close to it. Early this morning I got to meet with my seventh grade pen pal, Reily. I had fun. We worked on a story about one of her teachers with some interesting quirks for an hour. "Outstanding!" that was one of her teachers quirks. He loved to say, "oustanding!" I got this brown wool hat on my head that i bought while I was in California because my hair has gotten so long that it keeps getting in my eyes causing them to get red and burn. One of these days I shall have to get a hair cut. I have class in 3 minutes so I better be off.

God Bless
