It's a Saturday night, and I'm.. well, I'm being me. And I am enjoying being on my baby iBook.. I just got our blog listed with the directories of Yahoo!, Google, Altavista, MSN, and Alltheweb.com. Yup. I rule. I have a little ego today. Makes up for the ego I didn't have Christmas Eve. *long story*

The holiday break, while it's still continuing, has treated me well thus far. I didn't get an iPod, but I did load up on music (this connects to Jeremiah's entry!). Santa got me Stevie Wonder's Definitive Collection (great, great stuff!), my parents bought Nelly Furtado's new one even though they have no clue who she is (gotta love parents), and my sis RobBob got me No Doubt's new one, the Singles. Three rockin' CDs. Plus, I gained a poster about how to be an artist from the parental unit. Yup. The poster is basically advice like: "Listen to old people" "Hug trees" "Do it for love" and... "Refuse to be responsible." I love the last one on this list simply because I'd never follow it even though I should (just once in awhile). My name is tied to that word, watch: RESPON- sybil. See?

I have based my future (in thinking on New Year's resolutions and the future in general) on wanting very basic things to be content: I want to teach. I want to write. I want to be creative. I want to work with design.

It's funny. Howard Rheingold's been mentioning (in his book) the people he was in contact with through his various online communities.. and it's funny because, well, I often think of how I write like I talk to all of you. Maybe that's what makes this community successful to me, the fact that I feel we all talk to each other on a level that.. I can't describe. All bloggers are equal in the eyes of.. other bloggers. Is that corny or WHAT? It's the eggnog. *kidding*

I found this link, and while the desing could use some work, it's got some interesting content for campus goers.
