Ok people, i realize that we have all been in mourning since that unmentionable happening in that unmentionable city to the north, but it is time to put the past behind us and move on with our lives. I am sure that the football team knows of the respectful silence here on the Bison Blog, and i m sure that they are very appreciative, but we must be strong and blog on, if not for ourselves, then for our team!

Kevin, after checking it out, I have found that the kornkven blog does not have a working public web page. I do not know if this is due to a decision made in the creating of the page, or if it is some problem... If it is ever possible to be seen as a web page, I will send the url to Sybil.

does everyone know about the literary festival this week at msu? there are a couple interesting things going on, below is a brief schedule of events...

Tuesday, 10/21, Barnes and Noble, 7:30: Al Davis and Deb Marquart,
"Two Writers Talk about Writing."
Wed. 10/22, The Avalon Events Center, 7:30: Deb Marquart reads, Josh
Harty provides music, New Rivers Press is introduced to the RR Valley.
Free food, cash bar.
Thurs, 10/23: Noon, Library Porch, MSUM - panel on "What
Editors/Publishers Want" at the Library Porch on the MSUM campus.
4pm - reading, Library Porch, MSUM - Cullen Bailey Burns reads from
Paper Boat, published by NRP in Spring 2003.
8pm - reading, King Biology Hall, MSUM campus. Candace Black (Tahe
Volunteer) and a reading by Rick Robbins from Ed Micus' Landing Zones
(two NRP books published this week). Reception after reading at the
Red Bear Tavern (basement) in Moorhead.
