I detest UND. And for good reasons: I hear about "them" all the time from my mom.. and other relatives/friends of the family. So it's not even the fact that I dislike the university, but the hearing about them all the time. I am usually the only Bison Die-Hard at any family function and defending what our university does is tough.. especially when it's just me... And when we lose games, it gets worse. UGH. So, it's a personal problem.
Anyhoo- I just returned last night from Washington State University in the Pullman/Spokane area of WA... another state school, and another school with rivals: U of W. I had tons to talk about with those people. I felt a bond. It was fabulous. Their school's football team (Division One) plays like the Bison and the Vikings: Do something great for one play, and then mess it up the next. But, they won versus the Oregon Beavers.
I am glad so many people are getting on here. I have had another person contact me, Ben, and I'll get his blog address ---> over there as soon as possible.
Maybe I should have called this the anti-UND blog. Would I have got a bigger response?
P.S. Erik, can I quote your entry below where you talk about blogging.. that is a great description of its ups and downs...??

The team re-asserted its "Division I readiness" yesterday picking on little Augustana. I'm not sure our Bison Blog is Division I ready--we need to do some heavy recruiting.
